The Water Spinners
Born from the earth, from a valley with beautiful hills, where the river runs giving life, the women
sing when the make thread.
In the morning, the spinners go down to the beach to enjoy the river and share with a partner
anecdotes, dreams, fears and laughter that flow like river water.
They all agree that the force of the river lightens their work and makes it more pleasant, it gives
them the possibility of creating a thread of the highest value and quality that will sustain their life
and that of their family.
They say that this tradition was inherited from their mothers and grandmothers and should be
cultivated while the river brings water for spinning and for all planting.
